Agriculture and farming continue to provide employment for more than half of India’s population. The Government of India actively safeguards farmers across the nation and implements various schemes for their benefit. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2019. Under this scheme, the government provides Rs 6,000 annually to farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. A key feature of the scheme is that payments are made every four months.

So far, 19 consecutive installments have been disbursed under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, with the latest one released on December 24th. Farmers are now awaiting the 20th installment. To receive the upcoming payment, all beneficiaries must complete the e-KYC process as per government instructions.

Despite official directives, many farmers have yet to complete their e-KYC registration. Those who fail to do so before the deadline may not receive their payment. Farmers benefiting from the Kisan Yojana should take immediate action. If your e-KYC application is still pending, complete the process without delay.
