The central government brings multiple types of beneficial schemes for the people of India. Of these, a few schemes are released for farmers who barely get any profit in agriculture. However, a majority of people outside urban areas are into farming and work hard to earn money from their agricultural fields.
In December 2018, the government had launched the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme for farmers of India. In this scheme, farmers get Rs 6000 every year. Since the scheme was launched 18 installed of Rs 6000 have been paid successfully and 19 is under process. However, many farmers will not receive the benefit of the 19th installment.
Check Why The 19th Installment Will Not Be Available For Many People:
Nearly 13 crore farmers are waiting to receive the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme on February 24. Before the due date, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare of India Shivraj Singh Chaouhan shared a few details related to the scheme.
The minister informed that people will receive Rs 2000 as the 19th installment on February 24, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will issue it.
Exemptions For The 19th Installment
Farmers in India are aware of the requirements they must meet to avail themselves of the benefits under the PM-Kisan scheme. To continue receiving the benefits, farmers must complete their e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer). Failure to do so may cause complications.
Farmers who have not completed their e-KYC may face delays in receiving payments. Additionally, issues may arise for those who have not activated their Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) while receiving the next installment. Farmers must ensure these tasks are completed before the 19th installment is released.
