New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Firday hit out at the Opposition meeting in Patna saying that the same is just for the ‘photo session’ and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will return to the power in 2024.

Taking a jibe at the Opposition meeting, the home minister said, “Today a photo session is underway in Patna. They (opposition) want to challenge PM Modi and NDA. I want to tell them that in 2024 PM Modi will become PM by winning more than 300 seats.”

Minister shah asserted that the Narendra Modi government should return to power as there is no corruption cases against them, whereas the Congress was involved in a scam of Rs 12 lakh crore.

The union minister stressed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ended terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, while targeting PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah.

He said, “I want to ask Abdullah and Mufti, who is responsible for 42,000 deaths? The BJP government has tightened the noose around terrorism in the Valley.”

“Today is ‘Balidan divas’ of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The whole country knows that it is because of him that Bengal is with India today. He opposed Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He had said that “Ek desh mein do Vidhan, do Pradhan aur do Nishan nahi chalega,” he added.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras commented the same on the matter who also believes that “there is no vacancy for the post of PM in 2024.”

“There is no vacancy for the post of PM in 2024. Opposition unity is a lie, it is just for photos. Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar fought against the Emergency imposed by Congress but now they are joining hands with them,” he said.
