PhonePe Launches Maha Kumbh Mela Security Insurance Plan: Get Benefits At Just…

PhonePe has launched an innovative insurance plan specifically for attendees of the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela, taking place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26.

To ensure the safety of the visitors in Mahakumbh Mela 2025, PhonePe, in collaboration with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company, has launched a unique insurance policy called ‘PhonePe Maha Kumbh Mela Suraksha.’ The policy costs ₹59 and offers several benefits for the pilgrims.

PhonePe has made the Maha Kumbh Mela insurance plan available in two categories: one for travelers coming by bus or train, priced at ₹59 per person, and another for those traveling by domestic flights, priced at ₹99 per person.

According to PhonePe, the insurance plan covers various expenses, including hospitalization, doctor consultations, outpatient treatment, personal accident coverage, loss of checked-in luggage, trip cancellation, missed connecting flight coverage, and expenses for repatriation of the deceased’s body to their home.

How To Purchase The Insurance Plan:

Open the PhonePe app and go to the insurance section, where you will find the new “Maha Kumbh” insurance option.

Check the details and click on the ‘Buy’ option.

Select a plan based on your mode of travel and enter the required information.

Review the details and make the payment.
