Every day at 6 a.m. fuel prices are revised by Indian oil marketing companies. During this process, fuel prices can either increase, decrease, or remain the same. Recently, there has been a ₹2 per liter reduction in the price of petrol. On March 14, 2024, fuel prices decreased, but on March 16, Saturday, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel.
While, in Rajasthan, the VAT on petrol and diesel prices has been reduced by up to 4 percent. Consequently, the price of petrol has decreased by ₹1.40 to ₹5.30, while the price of diesel has decreased by ₹1.34 to ₹4.85. - Delhi: Petrol is priced at ₹94.72 and diesel at ₹87.62.
- Mumbai: Petrol is priced at ₹104.21 and diesel at ₹92.15.
- Kolkata: Petrol is priced at ₹103.94 and diesel at ₹90.76.
- Chennai: Petrol is priced at ₹100.75 and diesel at ₹92.34.
