New Delhi: The demand for a CBI inquiry has started to arise in the Shraddha Walker murder case. A Delhi-based lawyer has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. The lawyer has demanded that the investigation of the Shraddha murder case be transferred from the Delhi Police to the CBI.
Delhi police lacks adequate capabilities, says petitioner
Petitioner advocate Joshina Tuli has argued that the Delhi Police lacks adequate technical and scientific equipment to locate evidence and witnesses, along with staff crunch, so the investigation into the murder, which took place six months ago, be transferred to the CBI. .
The petitioner has also submitted that the presence of media and other persons at the spot and in the court amounts to interference with the evidence and witnesses. The petitioner says that the Delhi Police has not sealed the spot till date. The general public and media persons have started coming and going there continuously.
