Passenger Found Lifeless After Air India Flight Lands In Lucknow

The Air India passenger had kept his seatbelt on, which suggests he may have died during the flight. The cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem, police said.

A passenger was found dead on an Air India flight (AI2845) after it landed in Lucknow from Delhi on Friday. The passenger was identified as Asifullah Ansari.

When the flight landed at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at 8:10 am, the crew tried to contact the passenger but got no reply. Doctors on board checked the passenger and confirmed he had passed away.

The passenger had kept his seatbelt on, which suggests he died during the flight.

The cause of death will be known after the postmortem report is out. In the meantime, the police have begun a detailed investigation into the incident.
