Parliament Winter Session LIVE Updates: Criticising the government over its remarks in Parliament on India-China ties, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh on Sunday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre, over the ‘India-China relations’, asking whether the Modi government has agreed to a “new normal” over the “old normal,” in a settlement that “does not restore” the Line of Actual Control.
The Congress leader reiterated the opposition’s demand that the Parliament should be allowed to debate on the China issue to reflect the collective national resolve. He said that the debate should focus on both strategic and economic policies especially since India’s dependence on China has increased economically.
INDIA Bloc leaders in Rajya Sabha are in the process of bringing a no-confidence motion against the Chairman of Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankar. According to reports, the opposition claims that over 50 MPs have signed for it.
MP Sandhya Ray who was in the Chair adjourned the House until 3 p.m.

While speaking in Rajya Sabha, BJP MP Arun Singh said, "We are seeing media reports on links between George Soros and Congress. This is a very serious matter and it should be discussed."

Following unscheduled adjournments and protests from opposition members on Day 9, Parliament is set to convene today at 11 AM.
