Lok Sabha Secretariat Suspends Security Personnel
However, Lok Sabha Secretariat took action on Thursday by suspending eight security personnel in light of the recent Parliament security breach. Initial findings from police sources indicated a different individual as the primary instigator behind the incident. Their investigation unveiled surveillance conducted around the Parliament premises by the accused before the breach unfolded.

During a Zero Hour session in the Lok Sabha, an unprecedented breach unfolded when Sagar Sharma vaulted from the visitors’ gallery into the chamber. He released a yellow smoke canister and aimed to navigate through desks, targeting the Lok Sabha Speaker’s Chair. MPs swiftly intervened, overpowering and detaining him, while his accomplice, Manoranjan, discharged another smoke canister in the gallery.
Meanwhile, two other protesters outside Parliament contributed to the chaos by releasing colored smoke from an aerosol canister. Amid the commotion, one of the protesters, escorted by the police, voiced, “We are students grappling with unemployment. Our parents are laborers, farmers, and small shopkeepers. There’s an attempt to silence our voices.”
