Proceedings in the Rajya Sabha began with Deputy Chairman Harivansh in the Chair, announcing the passing of Shibu Soren. The Upper House observed a minute of silence as a mark of respect. Following the tribute, Mr. Harivansh adjourned the House until 11 am tomorrow (August 5, 2025) in honour of Shibu Soren’s demise.
