Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla accepted motion signed by 146 MPs for impeachment of Justice Yashwant Verma on Tuesday. Speaker Om Birla announced a 3-member panel to probe allegations against High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma.

The panel will comprise Supreme Court judge Justice Aravind Kumar, Madras High Court Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, and senior jurist B.V. Acharya.

Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav on Tuesday said, "When will we raise our voice against all the rigging if not now.
