Pappu Yadav at News 24’s Manthan 2025 – ‘Won 5 out of 7 elections as an independent’

Speaking with News 24’s Executive Editor Rajiv Ranjan, Pappu Yadav said he has won 5 out of 7 elections as an independent candidate and is currently working as a Congress worker.

Manthan 2025: Ahead of the assembly elections in Bihar, News 24’s Manthan 2025 has begun in Patna, the state capital. Jan Suraaj party founder Prashant Kishore was the first to take the stage in the opening session, followed by Purnia MP Pappu Yadav.

Speaking with News 24’s Executive Editor Rajiv Ranjan, Pappu Yadav said he has won 5 out of 7 elections as an independent candidate and is currently working as a Congress worker.

Pappu Yadav discussed the crores of wealth amassed by Prashant Kishor, and when asked about his own income, he got irritated and said, “We loot and then distribute it.”

At the Manthan programme, Pappu Yadav also spoke about his relations with Mulayam Singh Yadav. He said, “I was always with Mulayam Yadav. But when Mulayam went with Lalu Yadav, I parted ways with him.”
