Pak drone: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in the wee hours of Friday shot down a Pakistani drone along the indo-pak that intrude in the Amritsar sector during the intervening night of February 2 to February 3.
According to the BSF jawan, the drone entered the area of responsibility of the Border Observation Post (BOP) Rear Kakkar in the Amritsar sector of Punjab. According to officials, the drone was recovered on Friday morning with a packet of contraband between the border fence and the zero line.

Earlier in the day on Thursday, the BSF suspected drone activity near the Indo-Pak border near Mumbeke village in Punjab’s Fazilka district in the early hours of Wednesday. The troops shot at the drone and recovered 2.622 kilogrammes of heroin.
On February 1, 2023, during the night hours, Border Security Force (BSF) troops stationed at the border heard a buzzing sound and a blinking red light from a suspected drone entering Indian territory near the village of Mumbeke in Fazilka.

According to the drill, troops attempted to intercept the drone by firing. The entire area was cordoned off, and the police and other agencies involved were notified.
