Pahalgam Terror Attack: Locals Hold Candle March, Demand Justice for 28 Killed in Broad Daylight

People are taking out a candle march in Pahalgam regarding the painful terrorist attack on 22 April. At least 28 people were killed in the terror attack, which took place in Pahalgam in Anantnag district. In that shocking incident in the Baisaran area, terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists. The attack took place in broad daylight on April 22 was the day when the US Vice President was in India, and Prime Minister left for his visit to Saudi Arabia.

The people who are protesting want to give the message through this Candle march that they are against terrorism.

A protester said, “We are condemning this incident which has happened. We want Justice.” Another person in the candle march said, “This is a murder of humanity and this has happened against our city. We appeal to the government to take action against them. And We welcome tourists to come again. We request with folded hands that you come again to our Pahalgam.”
