The first picture of one of the terrorists involved in Pahalgam terror attack, has emerged. Sources said the terrorist is Lashkar commander Adil Goujri who was here and went Pakistan in 2018 but had recently infiltrated back. 26 tourists were killed and several others were injured in attack that took place on Tuesday in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The picture shows the back of a man, in kurta carrying a gun in his hands. According to sources, 6 terrorists are believed to have carried out the terror attack in Pahalgam. A search operation using drone and helicopter is underway in the valley. The responsibility for the brutal killing has been claimed by the Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy outfit of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Sources revealed that terrorist Saifullah Khalid is likely the mastermind behind the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

Who Is Saifullah Khalid?
Saifullah Khalid, also known as Saifullah Kasuri, is the deputy chief of the Pakistan-based terrorist organization, Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to reports, he maintains a close connection with Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed. Khalid, who gets full support of Pakistan, is a ‘favourite asset’ of army officers, and roams freely there. He is also infamous for giving several Jihadi speeches.
PM Modi In Action
In view of the Pahalgam attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi on Wednesday, cutting short his Saudi Arabia visit. Upon his arrival, he held meeting with EAM S Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval at the Palam Airport. The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search operation in the general area of Baisran, Pahalgam, Anantnag, to nab the attackers.
Kashmir Bandh On Wednesday
In response to the terror attack in Pahalgam, several political parties in J&K extended their support to the call for a Kashmir Bandh on Wednesday to show solidarity with the families of victims. Locals in Baramulla, Srinagar, Poonch and Kupwara took out a candlelight march. Bajrang Dal workers also held a protest against the terror attack in Jammu.
