New Delhi: The government hospital in Morbi town got a new makeover overnight after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to visit those who suffered injuries in the bridge suspension collapse.
Upon hearing about the visit, the hospital administration immediately started repair work, cleaning floors, and changing bedding. Several parts of the 300-bed hospital were painted overnight, while some pictures claiming to be from the same hospital show that some construction work has also been started.
This triggered disgust among the Opposition parties, who were prompted to condemn PM Modi over this. The Congress said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lost empathy while hundreds of lives have been claimed in the incident.
It said that an event is being hosted to welcome “Raja Ji”.
