New Delhi: The landmark meeting of the Opposition has begun in Bihar's Patna on Friday to chalk out a joint strategy to take on BJP in next year's Lok Sabha elections. As per the news, over 15 Opposition parties have attended the meeting. The opposition is said to have chosen Patna for the meeting as the city represents Jayaprakash Narayan's call for a total revolution in 1974 that toppled Indira Gandhi's majority government. The meeting, to be hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is aimed at building a consensus on forming a united opposition front to take on the BJP. Several leaders had arrived Patna on Thursday itself.
