New Delhi: Following a brief meeting on Friday of at least 17 parties, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on said that the Opposition is standing together in the fight of ideologies, while asserting that all parties have their differences.

Gandhi said that the next meeting will be held soon where they will deepen the conversation. He said the strategy will be made as to how to work in every states.

Gandhi said there is an attack on India’s foundation, institutions and voice by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He said the strategy will be made as to how to work in every states.

The Congress leader added that it is a process of Opposition unity that is going to be taken deeply.

Meanwhile, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said the next meeting is likely to be held in Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla on July 12 where they will decide the next move regarding strengthening the Opposition against Narendra Modi-led central government.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hosted a meeting in Patna and invited members of Opposition parties across the nation to discuss a strategy against Narendra Modi-led Centre.
