New Delhi: The opposition parties on Thursday staged a walkout in the middle of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi speech over the no-confidence motion as they were demanding the statement on Manipur violence.
However, PM Modi did not speak over the violence that erupted in Manipur in the house.
During the PM Speech, the opposition parties chanted ‘Manipur, Manipur, Manipur’ highlighting their demand. PM Modi did not respond to the chanting and continued his speech.

He also said that the opposition has decided that the BJP and NDA will win the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing the parliament, “Several bills were introduced in the parliament and passed with an aim to provide boost to the people and provide upliftment to the society along with youth. But, opposition seems least interest about the bills. opposition has betrayed the people of the country,” PM Modi said, while speaking on the no-confidence motion.
“Gareeb ki bhookh ki chinta nahi hai, Satta ki bhookh ki chinat apke saar par sawaar hai. Aapko desh ke future ki chinta nahi hai pr apne political career ki chinta hai,” PM stated.
“What discussions have you engaged in regarding this motion? I’m noticing on social media that even your supporters are quite unhappy. Although the Opposition organized it, the outcomes seem to be working in your favor, akin to scoring boundaries and sixes right from this end,” he said.
“The track record shows that the Opposition’s motions of no confidence have consistently worked in our favor. Presently, it’s evident that the Opposition’s decision seems to be paving the way for NDA and BJP’s triumphant return in the 2024 elections, surpassing past achievements and garnering unprecedented support from the people,” PM Modi added.
