India has launched a military operation called ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to a deadly terrorist attack that took place on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people, mostly tourists, lost their lives. The operation targeted terrorist infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
