New Delhi: Congress leader Pawan Khera Wednesday strike back at Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia after the latter stated that Congress wants to stay “politically relevant.”
The Congress leader said, “It is strange that someone who changed political party to stay politically relevant himself is trying to lecture us.”
Talking to media reporters, Khera said it is a battle for demanding Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) over Adani issue, against the attempt of silencing voice of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and entirely to save democracy. Scindia ji will not understand that.”
Congress leader Khera slammed the union minister with a “friendly advice” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “the person whom the Congress took so far forward, made him a minister in such young age, if such person cannot be of Congress then, what would happen to you.”
This comes within hours of a press briefing that union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia addressed. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Scindia launched a series of sharp attacks against Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party where he said the grand-old party is “trying to stay politically relevant.”

The union minister said, “Congress Party, unfortunately, is going to a new low every now and then. It is trying to do everything possible to stay ‘politically relevant’. Theirs is a selfish fight, and we deeply condemn it.”
As reported earlier, BJP leader condemned the Congress saying that the latter has left with “ideology of a traitor.” He said, “They have only one ideology left and that is the ideology of anti-national… the ideology of working against the country.”
