India is having various upcoming developmental projects that will be implemented this year and some of them are in the proposed state. Similarly, the areas near the National Capital is also seeing growth in terms of infrastructural development.
Before starting the construction work under the Old Gurugram Metro, there is a need to increase the width of the 332 km route on this metro line. The suggestions have come from Habitat Tectonics Architecture and Urbanism Private Limited to the Gurugram Metro Rail Limited and Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation. Gurugram Metro Rail Limited has brought this survey report to the officials of GMDA, NHAI, PWD B&R, HSIIDC and Gurugram Municipal Corporation, as reported by Hindustan.
According to media reports, further steps will be taken by these organizations to increase the width. As per the survey report, the width of 80.19 Km of GMDA, 17.07 Km of HSIIDC, 23.34 Km of NHAI, 11.57Km of PWD B& R and 182.27 Km of Gurugram Municipal Corporation will be increased, as per media reports.
Not only this, construction of a 16.69 Km route needs to be done to connect it will the eco-trail. Apart from this 3.40 Km long road need to be widened.
