A tragic incident has been reported from Bhubaneswar where a young techie has ended his life by jumping off 8th floor of apartment. The incident took place on Monday evening at Chandrama complex of Kharvel Nagar. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old, Ronit Jena.
According to reports, he took this step after getting cheated in love. He was in a relationship with a girl from Berhampur. As per the family, Ronit used to spend a lot on that girl and financially supported her. The family alleged that Ronit was in depression after the girl cheated on him. They have demanded investigation to find the reason behind his death.
The incident has been caught on CCTV camera of the apartment. Police have also recovered a letter from Ronit’s room. In the letter, he has apologised to his mother before taking the drastic step.
His body has been handed over to his parents after post-mortem and further investigation into the case will be continued by the police.
