Odisha Train Accident: After taking stock of the situation from the accident site, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at a hospital in Balasor to meet the injured.

As per information around 900 people are injured and their treatment is underway in many local hospitals. 

Earlier today, PM Modi reached the site, where Coromondal Express, Yasyantnagar-Howrah Express, and a goods train met with a horrific accident on Friday evening. 

As per information, PM Modi has a telephone conversation with the cabinet secretary and health minister from the accident site. He instructed them to provide all needed help to the injured and their families.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister Dharmendra Pradhan briefed the PM about the train accident and current development.

Earlier in Delhi, The Prime Minister on Saturday chaired a high level meeting to take stock of the situation in the wake of the train mishap in Odisha.

As per information, so far, the death toll stands at 290, around 900 people are under treatment.
