Orisha Train Accident: Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) Member of Parliament Varun Gandhi expressed grief and condolences over tragic train accident in Balsor Odisha and demanded that all the MPs should donate a part of their salary to the breaved families as assistance.

“Orissa train accident is heart breaking! We have to stand like a rock with the families who are broken by this accident.I request all fellow parliamentarians to come forward to help the bereaved families by donating a part of their salary. First they get support, then justice,” tweeted Varun Gandhi.

Earlier on Friday evening, Cormandel Express met with an accident as it collided head to head with a goods carrier train near Bahanaga railway station in Balasore district, Odisha. Three trains were involved in the deadly accident.

As per official information so far, the death toll stands at 261 and around 900 peole are under treatment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited the accident side and took stock of the situation. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaisnaw, who are on the ground since morning, briefed PM about the situation.
