There are several schemes run by the Indian Government. Through these schemes, they provide financial support to the people who are in need. Not only the central government but the state government too runs several schemes.

One such scheme gives the facility of a ration card. The government supports the people who are not able to arrange a meal for themselves. This scheme is run by the Indian Government under the National Food Security Act for the needy people. The government gives free ration under this scheme to crores of people.

For this purpose a ration card is issued to the people who are eligible for this scheme. There are some eligibility criteria to get benefit of this scheme.

There are several people who are not able to get this card due to this reason. That is why a new card has been prepared by the Uttar Pradesh Government.

How Can You Get The Family Card Instead Of Ration Card

The UP government has initiated the making of new card instead of the ration card for the people. This card i called Family card. This is for the people who don’t have ration card. By using this card people can get benefit of the government schemes. This card carries unique number of 12 digits. If you don’t have ration card then you can apply for this. For this you need to visit familyid.gov.in.

Once you visit the website you need to click on the registration option. After this you will have to fill mobile number, Name, then you will be getting an OTP. Once you complete this process your family card will be made, as reported by ABP News.
