North Central Railway Revises Timetable From Jan 1: 19 Trains, Including Vande Bharat To Follow New Timings

Northern Central Railway on Tuesday announced that it has changed timetable for various trains from 1 January, 2025. The change features revised arrival and departure timings of trains. 19 trains, including the Agra-Banaras Vande Bharat Express will follows this revised timetable. The decision has been taken to improve the travel experience of rail passengers.

As per the revised schedule, the Banaras-Agra Cantt Vande Bharat will now arrive at Prayagraj Junction at 4:45 pm, instead of 4:50 pm, and depart at 4:50 pm.

Agra-Banaras Vande Bharat will now reach Prayagraj Junction at 11:10 am, instead of 11:25 am.

Pune-Darbhanga will now depart at 4.40 pm instead of 4.35 pm.

Pune-Gorakhpur will depart at 4.40 pm instead of 4.35 pm.

What Did CPRO Say?

‘Live Hindustan’ quoted North Central Railway CPRO Shashikant Tripathi who said that 15 new trains have been added to the timetable of Northern Central Railway (NCR) zone. A total of 14 trains have been extended, and the numbers of 95 passenger trains and 18 mail-express trains have been changed. Additionally, the arrival and departure times of 34 trains at stations in the Prayagraj division, 17 trains at stations in the Jhansi division, and 29 trains at stations in the Agra division have been revised.

Revised Timetable To Improve Travel Experience

The new timetable released by Railways to improve travel experience will be effective from January 1, 2025. This includes significant changes like introduction of new trains, change in number of trains, extensions, and increase in stoppage time at stations.

Similarly, Northern Railway said, “For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has changed the timetable of various trains from 01.01.2025.”
