Bikers or the people using two wheelers visit the petrol pump to refuel their vehicle. For everyone using two wheeler of the four wheeler rules are made. Once such rule is of wearing the helmet.
Now the riders will have to carry helmet while riding to petrol pump. As there is new rule which is going to get implemented from January 26, that is ‘No Helmet No Fuel’. This campaign will be applicable in Gautam Buddha Nagar District. There has been a notice issued by the department to all the petrol pumps in the Gautam Buddha Nagar District.
Under this new initiative petrol will not be given to people who are not found wearing helmet. The Transport Commissioner of Uttar Pradesh, BN attended the meeting with RTO and ARTO of the Meerut division. According to media reports, he stated that to reduce the accidents on the road, orders were issued to start this No Helmet No Fuel Campaign.
After this the letter were issued to the Transport department by the DM of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Manish Verma. According to this letter, the department were asked to connect with all petrol pump operators in the district within 7 days. They were asked to put the hoarding of ‘No Helmet No Fuel’.
This rule will get implemented from January 26, 2025. Apart from this, the transport officials have been asked to put the CCTV cameras on all the petrol pumps in the district, as per media reports.
