Noida Traffic: Police Enforce Strict ‘No Honking’ Rule In Silent Zones; Violators To Face Hefty Fines—Full Details Inside!

For this new rules related to honking has been brought in notice by Noida Police. This rule brought by them will be applicable in the silent zone. Under this silent zone comes schools and hospitals. This will is taken to curb the noise pollution in these areas.

Delhi, Noida and Gurugram face major rush, especially during the office hours. Because of this there is traffic jams on the roads. This makes the drivers to honk while moving in that traffic.

For this new rules related to honking has been brought in notice by Noida Police. This rule brought by them will be applicable in the silent zone. Under this silent zone comes schools and hospitals. This will is taken to curb the noise pollution in these areas.

As reported by Jagran, people who violate this rule will be fined. For the first time, they will be fined Rs 1000 and for repeating the same thing they will be fined Rs 2000. The objective of this move is to tackle noise pollution which affects the health.

The finalization of these rules are still in progress. While the traffic police have not yet specified when this rule will get enforced.

As per media reports, Informative posters will be put up to educate drivers about the new rules. This move by Noida Police will solve the issue of Noise Pollution to a great extent. A special team will be implanted by the Traffic police to monitor these areas.
