Elvish Yadav was apprehended on March 17 on allegations of supplying snake venom at a suspected rave event in Noida. Subsequently, he was presented in court and remanded to 14-day judicial custody.

The Noida police confiscated 20 ml of snake venom from the accused during the investigation. Despite his arrest, Elvish Yadav was granted bail by a court in Noida in the drugs case just five days later.

The YouTuber was charged under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the Wildlife Protection Act, and the Indian Penal Code. Elvish Yadav was one of six individuals mentioned in a First Information Report (FIR) filed at Noida’s Sector 49 Police Station on November 3 last year.

The recent chargesheet filed by Noida Police indicates that Elvish Yadav was in communication with snake charmers. Additionally, it outlines the rationale behind the imposition of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) in the case.
