Police in Noida discovered a fake call center that allegedly scammed people in the US and arrested 73 individuals from the site.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Hridayesh Katheria said the gang was operating from the Bhutanese Anthem Complex in Sector 90.

Police arrested 73 people, including 33 women, and stated that the gang leader is still at large.

Mr. Katheria said police recovered 14 mobile phones, 73 computers, three routers, and ₹48,000 in cash from the site.

An official said the investigation revealed that these people scammed others by installing viruses on their computers and laptops and then threatening them.
