Noida Police Busts Gang Extorting Money Under Guise Of Massage Parlor

The Noida Police recently uncovered a gang involved in extorting money under the guise of massage parlors and escort services.

Noida police arrested a gang that was allegedly extorting money from people under the guise of running a massage parlour on Sunday, officials said.

According to Shakti Mohan Awasthi, DCP Central Noida, the group operated in Sector 70 under the name Royal Massage Therapy and lured victims using the Just Dial app. Once in contact, the gang would book prostitutes through the platform and later extort between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 from victims, either online or offline, threatening to reveal inappropriate images and videos.

The police arrested three gang members, Shivam, Rohit, and Rajan alias Raju. A female accomplice participating in the operation is now fleeing.

Police further said that the group has been involved in more than 50 such crimes in the last year. Five cell phones used in illegal activity were recovered from their possession. Further enquiry is underway.
