Women’s Employment Boom in Noida: As the Noida region strides forward on the path of development, with rapid progress in infrastructure like roads and electricity, a new chapter is about to unfold. Alongside the tangible signs of growth, the focus is shifting towards employment opportunities.
A surge of jobs is imminent in the Noida area, particularly in Sector-29 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), where pending infrastructure projects have been completed. This milestone paves the way for the construction of 40 factories in the upcoming Apparel Park.
Preparations for the allocation of these factories are in full swing, promising employment not only to locals but also to workers from neighboring states. The Apparel Park, set to become the country’s largest and most advanced, will specialize in ready-made garments, with a projected timeline of two years for its completion.
Near the Jewar International Airport, plans are underway for a modern apparel park, with the Yamuna Authority already having allocated 92 plots, a significant portion of which are ready for possession.
With 2 lakh women poised to benefit from these employment opportunities, the Apparel Park Association is spearheading efforts to expedite construction. Meetings with authority officials have resulted in unanimous decisions to kickstart construction on dozens of factories next month.
A noteworthy aspect of this initiative is the allocation of 70 percent of the anticipated three lakh jobs for women, promising a substantial boost to the region’s economy.

The establishment of 40 factories in the Apparel Park is poised to inject renewed vigor into economic activities in the region.
