Residents Facing Inconvenience

Due to the construction of an elevated road on DSC Road near Sector-47 and Sector-107, the traffic police have diverted the route. As a result, the road between Sector-100’s Century Apartments and Sector-47 crossing has been blocked using iron barricades. This has forced residents to take long detours. RWA President Pawan Yadav alleges that similar roadblocks have been set up in several areas across the city, raising concerns about more such accidents.

Allegations Against Traffic Police

At the beginning of the project, Pawan Yadav, who serves as the RWA President, contacted the traffic police to convey that barriers at this site were unnecessary. He published the matter on social media platforms. However, the traffic police allegedly ignored the warnings. Yadav stated that police officers established roadblocks based on their personal preferences throughout the area. The authorities ignored all recommendations, which led to the rejection of a U-turn at the intersection, causing people to follow longer travel paths.
