Noida: Big Update On Bhangel Elevated Road; One-Hour Journey To Be Completed In Just 5 Minutes

It is expected that five lakh people will benefit from the elevated road and it is being claimed that it would reduce travel time from one hour to just five minutes.

The Dadri-Surajpur-Chhalera (DSC) elevated road is expected to be completed by the end of May 2025, and operational by the first week of June. According to the Noida Authority, 95% work of elevated road has been finished and 75% of road construction work is complete. To expedite the construction work, a traffic diversion has been implemented near Hajipur.

As per the Noida Authority, a traffic girder is being built at Sector 107-Barola T point. A ramp has been built at Agahpur in Sector 49, marking the starting point of the elevated road. At the end of Sector 82-NSEZ, the ramp is still incomplete, where traffic would descend from the elevated road. Street light poles are yet to be raised on the elevated road. Noida authority CEO M Lokesh assured that the remaining work related to the elevated road will be completed soon. 

Commuters will get relief from the hour-long traffic jams

Commuters will not face any jams in Sector-48, 49, Aghapur, Barola, and Bhangel. There will be smooth connectivity from Sector 82 and Phase-2 industrial area. During peak hours, commuters often witness long dealys. It is expected that five lakh people will benefit from the elevated road and it is being claimed that it would reduce travel time from one hour to just five minutes.

A tender will be released for the construction of the loop

The Noida Authority CEO said that there are four loops proposed at Sector107-Barola T point. The authority will construct the loop but it would release a separate tender for the same. 

Construction work is expected to be completed by the end of May

The authority has decided to achieve the construction target in April, but all construction work will be completed by the end of May.
