Noida Airport Third Phase: 42,433 People Eligible For Compensation, 2,053 Hectares To Be Acquired From 14 Villages

The Noida International Airport that will be operational next year in month of April. This will benefit the residents of Noida and Greater Noida.

For the development of the third phase of the Noida International Airport, a total of 42,433 people are eligible for compensation, officials said.

Noida Airport is set to become one of the biggest development in western UP. The Airport conducted its first flight validation test on 9th December 2024. The Noida International Airport will be operational From April 2025.

As quoted by Indian Express CEO of Noida International Airport, Arun Veer Singh stated that, "The revised compensation rate will smoothen the acquisition process and keep it on schedule. We have already begun preparations to conduct a social impact assessment and will soon compile a list of affected farmers. This will encourage farmers to release their land for the project.”

According to media reports, the authority will acquire 2,053 hectares of land. This much land will be acquired from across 14 villages.

Majority of the land will be taken in Thora which is 639 hectares. Following this villages comes Neemka Shahjahanpur from here 307 hectares of land will be taken.

How Noida Airport Will Bring A Change For The People Living There?

The Noida International Airport that will be operational next year in month of April. This will benefit the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. It will save their time and money. Before the people living in Noida and Greater Noida used to go to Delhi Airport to catch their flight. But now it will become easier for them to board the flight, as Airport in Noida will be operational on April, 2025.
