The protests have gained momentum in several residential complexes, including Gardenia Glory in Sector 46, Noida, Futec Gateway in Sector 75, and Himalayan Pride, Nirala Greens, and Nirala Global in Greater Noida West.

Abhishek Srivastava, a resident, expressed frustration over the two-year delay in the registry process for flats in one of the towers within his apartment complex. “We’re exhausted from repeatedly visiting the builder’s office,” he remarked.

Rakesh Ruhela, an elderly resident, lamented the lack of assistance from both the builder and the local development authority. “We appeal to the government to ensure our registry and grant us ownership of our flats,” he stated.

The protests have led to some developments. The authority has reported that the builder of Nirala Greens has now paid 25 percent of the outstanding dues. However, the residents’ struggle is far from over.
