The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Excise policy case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), with specific conditions restricting his activities during the period of his interim release.
The bench directed that Arvind Kejriwal be released on interim bail in connection with case ECIR No. HIU-II/14/2022 dated 22.08.2022. The conditions of the interim bail are consistent with those imposed in the previous order dated 10.05.2024. The conditions are as follows:

Kejriwal’s bail conditions reflect the court’s cautious approach to ensuring that his interim release does not interfere with the ongoing investigation or his official duties as the Chief Minister of Delhi. The case continues to develop as the larger bench may revisit the conditions and the status of Kejriwal’s bail.
