Nagpur: Union Road and Transport Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari’s Nagpur home and office received three threat calls against him. The caller said the Minister could be ‘harmed’ if he did not receive Rs 10 crore (asked price).
As per the Police, the caller identified himself as Jayesh Pujari alias Jayesh Kantha. Security of Nitin Gadkari’s residence and office was beefed up after a threat call was received.
Three threats calls, two in the morning and one at noon were received by Gadkari’s Public relation office, said Rahul Madane, deputy commissioner of police (Zone II).

Notably, Jayesh pujari was the same person whose name used to make similar calls to Nitin Gadkari’s office in January.
On January 14, the Union Minister’s public relations office received a call, demanding 100 crores. The caller identified himself as Jayesh Pujari and claimed he was a member of the Dawood Ibrahim gang.
According to information, Jayesh Pujari is currently in the Hindalga jail in Karnataka’s Belagavi. he was awarded a life sentence in connection with a murder case.
