Greater Noida Dowry Murder has caught international headlines as the monstrous husband, Vipin Bhati, and his parents set a 26-year-old woman ablaze after torturing her for dowry. There are reports that Vipin was once seen with a woman in Delhi, where they were caught and thrashed on the road. In a latest development, reports suggest that Vipin had an illicit relationship with a woman who was caught red-handed by his wife, Nikki and his sister-in-law, Kanchan.
The affair came to light when a woman from Jarcha filed an FIR in Noida alleging that Vipin physically assaulted her. The woman alleged that Vipin assaulted her when his wife caught them together in October 2024. She also charged him with exploitation. It is being reported that the relationship between Vipin and Nikki deteriorated after she discovered Vipin’s affair. The illicit affair often became a frequent cause of conflict between them.
Nikki’s sister, Kanchan, alleged that Vipin was involved with several women, not just one. She claimed he was once caught with another woman in Molarband, Delhi. According to media reports, a video of Vipin with another woman went viral in 2024, in which Nikki’s family members confronted him and beat him on the road.
How Many Arrests So Far?
Nikki Bhati, a 28-year-old woman, was allegedly burned alive by her husband, Vipin, and her mother-in-law, Daya Bhati, in Greater Noida over dowry, according to police. Her family stated that she had been harassed since her marriage in 2016, despite paying dowry, and claimed that Vipin and his family demanded Rs 36 lakh. When the money was not given, they allegedly set her on fire. Vipin’s family and cousin, however, said that Nikki’s burns were caused by a cylinder blast in the kitchen. Police found no cylinder at the crime scene but recovered a thin bottle and a lighter. Several videos of Vipin assaulting Nikki have circulated online, including one disturbing clip showing her covered in flames as she walked down the stairs.
