He then tried to escape near Sirsa Chauraha, even after being warned several times. The police fired at him, and a bullet hit his leg. Police received information on August 21 that Vipin Bhati, with his family, had killed his wife. A case was filed, and he was arrested. On Sunday, while being taken to recover inflammable material, he tried to snatch a pistol, fired at the police, and tried to run away. In retaliation, police shot him in the leg. He was then taken to the hospital.
