New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a cash reward for providing information about underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim and his ‘D’ Company gang links. NIA has announced a reward of 25 lakhs for underworld gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
The NIA on Wednesday said that Dawood Ibrahim has created a unit in India for smuggling arms, explosives, drugs and Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) for his associates in the investigation related to ‘D’ Company, Ibrahim’s gang. And also plans to carry out terrorist attacks in collaboration with Pakistani agencies and terrorist organizations.

Rewards on Dawood, Anees Ibrahim
According to news agency PTI, the NIA has also announced a reward for Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Anees Ibrahim alias Haji Anees, close aides Javed Patel alias Javed Chikna, Shakeel Sheikh alias Chhota Shakeel, and Ibrahim Mushtaq Abdul Razzaq Memon alias Tiger Memon. Rewards have also been announced. The reward amount for Dawood Ibrahim is Rs 25 lakh, while the agency has announced Rs 20 lakh for Chhota Shakeel and Rs 15 lakh each for Anees, Chikna and Memon, the official said.

Many allegations against Dawood including Mumbai serial blasts
The agency claims that Dawood is in Karachi, Pakistan. Dawood Ibrahim, wanted for several terror activities in India, including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, already has a $25 million bounty. The reward was announced by the United Nations Security Council in 2003.
Dawood Ibrahim is among India’s most wanted people along with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar, Hizbul Mujahideen founder Syed Salahuddin and his close aide Abdul Rauf Asghar.
