News 24 Sting Operation on brokerage in MP: Furious RTO launches deadly attack on MPCG Team

According to reports, when Hemant Sharma, a reporter from News 24's MPCG, and his team arrived at the RTO's office to expose Vinod’s wrongdoings, approximately 50 people attacked them.

A News24 reporter and his team, who had gone to Indore in Madhya Pradesh to expose brokerage practices within the RTO, were attacked. Around fifty people assaulted the team, even breaking their cameras. The attack took place at the RTO office. The victim, identified as reporter Hemant Sharma, and his team had gone to expose the brokerage practices of the RTO. However, when the team began uncovering the illegal activities of RTO Vinod Verma, he became enraged and, along with other brokers, attacked them.

Stones pelted

According to reports, when Hemant Sharma, a reporter from News24's MPCG, and his team arrived at the RTO's office to expose Vinod’s wrongdoings, approximately 50 people attacked them. They snatched the camera and began abusing and assaulting them. The crowd pelted stones at the team, with Sharma suffering severe head injuries. His team was also injured, and the police as well as the Transport Minister are being implicated in the incident.

Transport Minister refuses to speak

When Sharma called the police to report the assault and stone-pelting, they arrived at the scene, but no action was taken against the RTO. Instead, even in the presence of the police, the RTO and his men constantly attacked the MPCG team. While the police remained mute, a call was made to Transport Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh, but he refused to speak. The accused brokers then snatched the reporters’ phone.
