Under Rule 30A, spreading fake information and making hoax threat calls is also strictly prohibited. No person would be allowed to put the safety of the citizens on a flight or airport in danger.

New Aviation Rules: In a significant move, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has recently taken a decisive step and has amended the Aircraft (Security) Rules 2023. Under the revised regulation, a hefty fine of Rs 1 lakh will be reportedly charged to individuals found guilty of making hoax calls. The development comes after a series of hoax bomb threats targeting Indian Airlines were made which caused widespread panic among the citizens.

This move is aimed at improving the security and safety of the aviation sector as well as the public. Additionally, the miscreants involved in threat calls to the airports will be put on a 'No Fly list'.
