The National Testing Agency will release NEET-UG 2024 results within two days, announced Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He stated the merit list will be revised per the Supreme Court's observations and emphasized zero tolerance for exam irregularities, asserting the importance of maintaining the sanctity of exams.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the final results for NEET-UG 2024 within the next two days, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated during a press conference on Tuesday. He mentioned that the NEET-UG merit list will be revised according to the Supreme Court’s observations made earlier that day.

This announcement follows the Supreme Court’s decision to reject demands for canceling NEET-UG 2024. The apex court ruled that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that the exam results were compromised or that there was a systemic breach in the exam’s sanctity. The three-judge bench, led by Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud, noted, ‘We are of the considered view that ordering the cancellation of the entire NEET-UG 2024 examination is neither justified…on the basis of the material on the record.’
