Lok Sabha election results 2024: NDA won the Lok Sabha Election 2024 by 290 seats where BJP got 240, Shiv Sena 7, TDP 16, JDU 12, and JDS 2. Before addressing the candidates and media PM Modi posted a tweet congratulating the candidates for their hard work and thanking the citizens for their support and faith in NDA.
After 1962, this was the first time when any government came to power for the third consecutive term.
The highlight for BJP remained their first-ever seat in Thrissur, Kerala won by actor Suresh Gopi.
BJP President, JP Nadda mentioned all the achievements of the party in the last 10 years and marked this year full of growth and development.

Modi went emotional
“This was my first election after my mother’s demise, therefore today was an emotional moment. This time we saw women having broken all the records of voting and they are the reason for our win.
Jammu and Kashmir has marked a record and in Kerala, we are going to form our government for the first time. On many seats like Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh, BJP got a clean sweep.”
