However, after the two-day opposition meeting concluded in Bengaluru, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the PM got afraid of the giant 26 party meeting following which he is calling out every NDA ally across the country.

Over the BJP claim of 38 parties attending the NDA meet, Kharge also said that they does not even know that these much parties even exist in India, or are they even registered or not.

Meanwhile, earlier on Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed the opposition meeting as ‘Kattar Bhrashtachari Sammelan’.

“People of the country say that this is a ‘Kattar bhrashtachar sammelan’. Another speciality of this meeting is that if someone is out on bail in a corruption of crores of Rupees, they are seen with great respect. If the entire family is out on bail, they are more honoured. If someone insults a community and is punished by the court, he is honoured,” PM Modi said.

In another major development, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan annaounced that he will contest the next Lok Sabha polls in 2024 from the Hajipur constituency in Bihar.

“I definitely say that I will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Hajipur only. It is not right to share the talks that took place with the BJP on a public platform but it is certain that Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest the Lok Sabha election from Hajipur,” ANI quoted Chirag Paswan as saying.
