The Rajasthan Police’s intelligence wing arrested Naval staffer Vishal Yadav for allegedly leaking defence information to a Pakistani handler during Operation Sindoor. Yadav was posted as an upper division clerk in Nausena Bhawan. He has been sent on a four-day police remand.
The intelligence officials said he was in regular touch with a Pakistani female handler, Priya Sharma, on various social media platforms.
Yadav sent sensitive information to Pak handler
Special Public Prosecutor (PP) Sudesh Kumar Satwan said, “Vishal Yadav was arrested on June 25. He collected sensitive information and sent it to a Pakistani handler. The name of that handler is saved on his mobile as Priya Sharma. Documents related to the Indian Navy were shared and documents were shared during the time of Operation Sindoor. So, from where did he collect these documents and who were his accomplices in sharing the documents, to investigate all this, we have taken a 4-day police remand. There is enough evidence for conviction.”

The investigators discovered that Yadav was addicted to online gaming and incurred financial losses. To repay his debts, he leaked sensitive information to his Pakistani handler in exchange for money.
