Earlier in the day, it was reported that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu, who was expected to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, will now take oath on June 12. The change in date was due to Narendra Modi’s oath ceremony, which was initially expected to be on Saturday, June 8.

In the recent Lok Sabha election, the NDA secured 292 out of 543 seats, surpassing the majority mark by 20 seats. However, the BJP, with 240 seats, did not obtain a majority on its own, marking a notable decline from its strong performances in 2014 and 2019.
