Mumbai: Nagpur Police arrested a person who made a fake call threatening to place a bomb in front of Nagpur’s house of Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
According to police, it was a fake call and the person who made the call has been arrested and is under interrogation.
“We received a call threatening to place a bomb in front of the house of Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis in Nagpur, but the investigation has revealed that this is a fake call. The person who had called last night has been taken into custody and is under interrogation,” said Amitesh Kumar, Police Commissioner, Nagpur.
A few days back, Union Road and Transport Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari’s Nagpur home and office received three threat calls against him. The caller said the Minister could be ‘harmed’ if he did not receive Rs 10 crore (asked price).
The caller identified himself as Jayesh Pujari alias Jayesh Kantha.
